Free Plugin: The SiteDef plugin runs entirely on your server. No data is sent to us. Zero data collection.
Pro SaaS: When you connect to SiteDef Pro, we store:
- Your email address (for login and alerts)
- Your domain name(s) (for monitoring)
- Scan results (vulnerability reports, uptime status, SSL data)
- Alert preferences (Telegram chat ID, email notification settings)
- Payment information is processed by Stripe — we never see your card details
2. How We Use Your Data
- To monitor your WordPress sites for security issues
- To send alerts when problems are detected (downtime, vulnerabilities, SSL expiry)
- To generate weekly security reports
- To process your subscription payments (via Stripe)
- We never sell, share, or use your data for advertising
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secured servers in the EU. We use industry-standard encryption (PBKDF2 for passwords, TLS for transmission). Database backups are encrypted and retained for 30 days.
4. Your Rights (GDPR)
- Access: You can view all your stored data in your dashboard
- Delete: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Export: Contact us for a full data export
- Opt-out: Disconnect from the SaaS to stop all external data processing
5. Cookies
We use a minimal session token (stored in your browser's localStorage) for authentication. No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics.
